During my study abroad semester in Denmark I got the opportunity to develop an application for Bestseller as a study assignment. This involved a service portal design; a platform that makes it possible to arrange many different services within a company. At Bestseller it was all about making the many different options and possibilities within the platform accessible and clear. Ultimately, this service portal should provide the employees of the company with an easy route to all possible internal services.
Since there would be a substantial workload when working out the overall platform, I was given the task to focus on one service of my choice which I would design and prototype as extensively as possible. This involved thinking about every action of the user as well as that of the system. Thinking about the user-friendliness was top priority.
